Scandinavian Festival 2013

Can't believe a year has passed.
It went so quick... ☺
Yesterday's highlight was the annual Scandinavian Festival!

Here is the post from last year's event...☺

We spent the day enjoying the awesomeness
of the Scandinavian countries - and a few Nordic countries as well.

The Finnish stall

10 000 visitors, sunshine and +29°C (84.2°F)

Pippi Longstocking ~ Pippi Långstrump

Yours truly in a Swedish t-shirt

Lots of Swedish goodies from Swedish Goodies!

Danish Santas
- Christmas will be here before we know it!!

Saga Vikings

I met up with my Swedish friend Gunilla and her daughter Anna.

Jonah played floorball for the first time!

After a whole day of walking around it was nice for Lily
to finally sit down in the pram and go on the bus.

She fell asleep on the way home and had a lovely 1½hr sleep.
I felt like doing the same lol

Already looking forward to next year's Festival!

  1. Great Photos! Only wish I had been smiling! It was a fantastic day. Do you really think there was 10,000 or more people? Regards, Amanda

  2. That looks like it was a great way to spend your day. Thanks for the glimpses of items from the other countries. The pastry looks interesting as do the old helmets and horns. Thanks also for visiting Blue Clear Sky and for your kind comments.

  7. Tänk att när man sitter här hemma har man svårt att inse hur mycket ni kan längta efter det skandinaviska. 10000 besökare, det är väldigt mycket, det - som en mindre kommun här hemma ...
